It has been so long since our visit that my little Paycie has grown up since then. I am going to post her "old" photos any way. Mema and Papa want to see her and I thought it would be good medicine since they are house bound for a while. Dad had gall bladder surgery on Friday. Saturday he woke up with a retina detachment. He had surgery on his eye that evening. He has to hold his head down for ten days and he may be as long as six weeks getting his sight back in that eye. Please pray for him and mom. Doug and I have some important tests coming up in two and a half weeks. Please pray for us. My literacy workshop class is going well. Work is oh well. I had a little round of the flu the first part of the week, but recovered and back at life again even though I had the vaccine a few weeks ago. Jonathan and Marissa find out what gender they are having tomorrow.
Enjoy our little sunshine!
Grandpa's favorite thing to do is lay his little girl on his chest.
I love the dimpled chin. Like Mommy like daughter.
She looks older here but it is because I have the camera so close to her.
Granny is learning lots of songs to sing to her sweet Paycie.
I Am Jesus’ Little Lamb
I am Jesus’ little lamb,
Ever glad at heart I am;
For my Shepherd gently guides me,
Knows my need, and well provides me,
Loves me every day the same,
Even calls me by my name.
A Daddy's girl or is that a Girl's daddy.
Uncles will put up with a lot of things, but I imagine that head piece came of shortly after this photo.
The most recent photos I have.
We saw her on Skype Monday evening. She has grown so much but still looks the same with that wild wild hair. She is granny's little sunshine and motivation to get through these tests. We are looking forward to seeing her at Thanksgiving.
